I hate hate hate it when applications make folders like “My Documents,” “My Ebooks,” “My Music,” and “My Pictures.”
I’d like to organize the files on my computer according to different fundamental principals than that they are, in fact, my files.
Many of these pesky critters can be squashed by judicious searches of RegEdit, but Acrobat Reader’s “My Ebooks” has eluded my attempts to zap it . . . until I stumbled over these instructions for making Acrobat Reader start faster.
. . . and as a bonus discovered I killed the auto-create of “My Ebooks.” (I suspect ebook.api.)
