1 December 2005, 10:50 amYesterday, due to confusion between his keepers, Himself found himself gifted not only with a sliver of sashimi, but also with a new catnip-infused scratching mat. There was much purring and luxuriating.
This morning we found this tribute deposited at the foot of the bed:
I certainly much prefer them to real dead mice, but I don’t know the best way to show Theo how touched I was by his offering. I have no idea how he retrieved them; the tiny stuffed mice tend to disappear far behind/under furniture within minutes of their arrival.
