I would be suspicious. Prolly poisoned.

That thought did occur to me. You have no idea what it’s like around here sometimes when the hordes descend after an email of the “free donuts in 5th floor west kitchen” variety… it can be pretty scary.

I’m more intrigued by the FOUR different varieties of milk, myself. And that’s either not counting the half-n-half or assuming the two cartons are identical. Whoever risks poisoning w/that cake has plenty of choices for the washing-down. In fact, that’s probably why the cake is still there - potential moochers are paralyzed by indecision.

Yah, my workplace goes to ridiculous lengths to coddle geeks. But there are only three milk varieties — skim, 2%, and whole. Plus half-and-half, soy milk, and non-dairy creamer. There might even be some heavy cream, i’m not sure. The skim always disappears first.

Now we’re apparently getting 1% milk too. This seems a little silly. Can’t you effectively create 1% milk by mixing skim and 2%?
