6 May 2009, 7:35 amSolo bike accident last Friday left me with a broken wrist, so updates may be (even more) infrequent for a little bit. I am so, so glad I was wearing a helmet, I really hope you do too if you ride. And I am enormously grateful to the person or persons unknown who called 911 on my behalf.
All things considered, Doug, I’m glad you came through with only a broken wrist, though that must have been (and still is perhaps) very painful.
Kudos for wearing a helmet! Yes, I always wear one when riding, just as I always wear a seat belt while in a car. It doesn’t take much to get used to either.
